With that much extra light-gathering power these are ideal for a low-cost entry into binocular astronomy. They are also excellent for birding nautical applications and surveillance. Not only do you get big 60mm objectives- you get the same highest-quality BAK4 prisms that are found in much more expensive models. These are available in your choice of either 9x 12x 15x or 20x magnification. All air-to-glass surfaces are fully coated to decrease light loss due to scattering and reflections. Objectives have highest-quality green/purple broadband multi-coatings typically only found on binoculars with much higher price tags.
